10 Comics For Memorial Day
by The GoComics TeamOn Memorial Day, Americans are meant to remember those who died while serving in the armed forces. Since shortly after World War II, it's also served as the unofficial start of summer and effectively provides many with a fun-filled three-day weekend. This presents a kind of contradictory vibe that observers are made to ponder each passing year.
Running the gamut from silly to somber, this selection of comics touches on the holiday's status as both a day off and a day of remembrance in the United States.
