One time, when our girls were really young, we went to have lunch at our favorite buffet place. The place was fairly empty when we got there. Soon after we were seated a couple came in. The hostess (manager, and friend of ours) went to seat them near us, but they asked to be moved because they preferred not to be seated near “those children”. The manager tried to tell them that “those children” were well-behaved, but they insisted, so she moved them across the room from us. Soon after, the place started to fill up. A family came in with three very rambunctious boys, and the only table available was the one right next to that couple! We could see them looking over at us, with our girls sitting nicely and behaving, while those boys were…well…not.

There’s always the Twilight Bark. Although normally a gossip chain, one can usually get reliable information.

I will never forget the ad I once saw that said that you could change your plain brown eyes to hazel, green, or blue. As a brown-eyed girl with low self-esteem, that angered me beyond belief.

“only” 40-inch? That’s still too big for my living room.

That’s like looking up someone named Cote here in New Hampshire.

In a dream I saw what KISS looked like without makeup a full 3 years before they showed their faces to the public.

Which is great if: a) you have a large enough living room/viewing room; b) you can afford the large screen TV and accompanying surround sound; and c) all of the different streaming companies. Not everyone can.

Personally, I’D rather see “Twisters” than “Despicable Me 4”.

We occasionally still enjoy the theatre experience, but every Saturday night my husband & I watch a movie together with a glass of wine & some crackers & cheese. This week it was “Little Miss Sunshine”. One of my daughters said that she loves that we do it & hopes to do it with her someday husband.

I got one for Christmas when I was about 16. It was tiny, black & white, and I loved it. At night I would put on V66 (a local music video station). It was also our first TV when my husband & I got married until someone gave us a color TV as a gift. Sadly, we made the mistake of loaning it to an unreliable friend, who trashed it.
