Reality beats any opinion including my own. :: Bowdlerizers are stupid. Fix by inserting ‍‍ ‍ somewhere into the forbidden word: fu&ck. Both the & and the ; are required. The magic incantation is a "zero-width join", and makes the the bowdlerizer see two words, neither "wrong".   :: GC is enforcing a rule against posting URLs. As always, they've used a cheap parser. URLS consist of a protocol ("https" followed by "://" for example) a "subdomain" such as "www." a "main part" such as "gocomics" a top level domain (TLD) such as ".com"; then perhaps more "/profile/1264563". Everything from the protocol to the end of the TLD ignores the case, so ".Com" is the same as ".‍com". Work around: Most browsers will fill in the protocol for you, so just don't post it. Then arbitrarily capitalize the various parts up through the TLD, then cut and paste the rest (case MIGHT matter) Thus: GoComics.Com/profile/1264563.

That makes me think of Mrs. Slocombe from “Are You Being Served?” She had a different color and style of wig for every occasion.

Of course actors and actresses have used wigs since they gave up the totem masks. So that was at least a crack in the fourth wall. And if you’re a “follow the leader” kind of person, fashion-wise, then that’s another reason to choose wigs over hair.

That is what my friends who prefer wigs say. That and both of them happen to like to change their appearance, so they have various wigs for various moods.

We don’t have to turn our yard waterers on or off. Except at the change of seasons when we turn the SYSTEM on or off.

And music. OMG, the moldy oldy music now is so modern that I can’t even hum along to most of it (and wouldn’t want to, mostly). Though it seems that Harry Belefonte is having a bit of a renaissance… and that’s my MOTHER’S music…

We have two near neighbors whose dogs bark… loudly… at any or no provocation. One of the naybs’ dogs will quiet down after you show some attention. The other pair seem inclined to NEVER stop, though if they do pause for a moment they restart if anybody so much moves a hand. That pair, I find beyond annoying. The ones with “off switches” are sweet and lovable… imo.

Yep. Same for extension cords (remember extension cords?) and pneumatic hoses. And sound cables.

Bit rot has obviously set it. I’ll go poke at it now. Thanks for the heads up.

Speaking of exploding heads, Spouse and I were imagining how the Magas would react if Kamala chose Pete B as her running mate.
