Your favorite cartoonists are headed to Jersey City!

September 7 marks the 77th annual National Cartoonists Society (NCS) Reuben Awards. This prestigious award show recognizes the year's outstanding achievements in the cartooning profession. There are several award categories, the highest honor being Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year, chosen via a secret ballot of NCS members.

The list of award finalists this year includes 17 GoComics creators, two of whom are nominated for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year: Will Henry (“Wallace the Brave”) and Mark Tatulli (“Lio”).

Last year, the Reuben Awards took place in Kansas City (which is also where the GoComics team is headquartered). You can find last year’s recap here.
